The e-karta system combines support and monitoring of fare collection by various means, enabling the passenger to choose at will the means of payment, and ensures a faster passenger flow at critical locations where overcrowding is a recurring phenomenon.
The e-karta system supports the payment of fares with the following means:
- Contactless smartcard – e-karta,
- Mobile phone (using the NFC technology),
- Online purchase,
- Credit cards,
- Cash.
